Thanks for this feedback Mach10Media, We understand this concern. We recommend users or production companies purchase a dedicated iPhone for Ninja Phone. For users who might not need a dedicated phone, we recommend flicking over to do not disturb when in use. Hey Chips, Thanks for the question, the answer is yes! Camera Control is definitely on the roadmap for Ninja Phone, and we're working on it ASAP. Our products are definitely capable of camera control from, all the major camera manufacturers such as our brand new Shinobi II we just released. Hi MrG, Yes! Ninja Phone will work perfectly with the Sony FS5 MkII :) We recommend sending HLG out of the camera to capture the most out of the 10-bit HDR signal which can then be used for SDR or HDR workflows in post. @@AtomosChannel Well you can see how many people complain about the price! It's ridiculous. As maker you think it can be revolutionary with this and that feature but still if it's overpriced then less people buy it. Maybe it's your way to sell ninja monitor. It's price over performance guys. Instead of selling 1-2 unit for just 2 customers, bring it down to sell to 10 of them and get people love your brand not hate it.

It's a slightly different procedure and we love Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and Pro max's amazing 10-bit screens which is why we did iOS first. and regarding live... Yes! Currently on Ninja Phone you can stream directly to your favourite social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, UA-cam Live, Facebook Live and any RTMP. This is completely free to do via Atomos Cloud Studio and we encourage you to check it our for yourself! , we are at this moment putting the final touches on the cut of the tutorial video and hope it can be released extremely soon. Shinobi II is a monitor designed for working filmmakers and photographers who want a higher end and bigger monitor than their LCD screens on their cameras provide, and to monitor in confidence with the suite of AtomOS tools and camera controls. Ninja Phone is instead a tool to allow content creators and filmmakers to stay in the world of their phones for production workflows for social media but easily utilize bigger and better sensors than phones have through connecting a mirrorless or cinema camera via HDMI. Hi Max, Thanks for your question - camera controls are something that we're working and is currently on the roadmap for a Ninja Phone firmware update as soon as we can. Currently, camera controls are working with Shinobi II for exposure, ISO, shutter and white balance and touch to focus controls are in the pipeline. Touch focus controls are a much more complicated process to do well which is why it wasn't in Shinobi II's shipping release. But we have heard our customers and are trying to bring the release forward in a firmware update as soon as we can. We'll be bringing all these same camera controls to Ninja Phone in a firmware release and when we have touch focus working successfully and in a user-friendly manner, it will be on the roadmap for Ninja Phone. Please know that we are currently working on a 4K version but that the 1080p version was designed for social media and content creators first - allowing them to utilise high end mirrorless or cinema cameras but to remain within a mobile phone workflow that they are used, where 1080p is the standard for most social media use-cases. Our team is closely working on a 4K version which is a more intensive process but one that we have listened to our customer's feedback on. Regarding Ninja V, that product is an absolute workhorse and swiss army knife but if you ever do have any issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for support and we'll do all we can to assist. Ninja Phone was not designed as a replacement for the Ninja V, Ninja V is perfect for 4K and RAW and Ninja Phone is a tool to allow content creators to stay in their mobile phone workflow but use bigger and better sensors than their phones allow, and filmmakers to monitor an HDR image on the screen that most of their viewers will be consuming it on. The reason for the price is due to the 10-bit pipeline we are utilizing for HDR recording and monitoring which is a complex procedure but we did this in order for filmmakers and content-creators to monitor and record their footage on the high-end screens of Apple and other smartphone company's displays. No other product can take 10-bit HDR to the 10-bit screen of the phone; you are wasting the screen capability; if you want a full-blown 4K 8K recorder monitor, then go for the Atomos Ninja. This is a such a cool tool to see HDR and stream it to other phones with HDR. You can also add pro audio and send it with the HDR. it can show you recording it just fine, but won't show it in 120fps. It'll be a 29.97 version out via HDMI
